This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation and file final report in Crime No.75 of 2016, on the file of the respondent, within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that after investigation, the respondent police filed charge sheet in Crime No.75 of 2016 on 15.07.2016, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Elayankudi and the same has been taken on file as C.C.No.19 of 2017.

4. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
