Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned of the second respondent dated 05.08.2015, relating to the proceedings of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vilathikulam Sub-Division, the third respondent herein made in C.No.5/Proceedings/DSP/VKM/TUT/2015, dated 24.07.2015, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to permit the petitioner to hold a public meeting addressed by Speakers of Soio-Political party called "All India Kamaraj Sthabana Congress" and the leaders of other organizations. This writ petition is filed challenging the order of the second respondent dated 24.07.2015, rejecting the representation of the petitioner for conducting a public meeting on 09.08.2015.

2. It appears that the respondent police have objected the public meeting on the particular day, in view of the temple celebration was conducted and there was a group clash between two parties.

3. Be that as it may, the permission is sought for only to conduct the public meeting on 09.08.2015. Since the said period is over, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
