[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.,] The Public Interest Litigation pertains to shifting of the temporary paddy procurement centre from Panakettankudi village to the Revenue village of Melaiyur, Thiruvidaimaruthur Taluk, Thanjavur District.
2.Mrs.S.Prabha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that since the prayer sought for by the petitioner has been favourably answered by the concerned official respondents, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. 3.Mr.K.Chellapandian, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents would submit that even prior to the submission of the representation, appropriate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.7677 of 2020 action has been taken and a recommendation for shifting the paddy procurement centre from Panakettankudi village to the Revenue village of Melaiyur, Thiruvidaimaruthur Taluk, Thanjavur District, was made on 08.07.2020 and the first respondent has passed an order on 10.07.2020 and the temporary paddy recruitment centre started functioning in the place ear marked from 11.07.2020 onwards. 4.This Court, taking into consideration of the above facts and circumstances, is of the view that no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. Therefore, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
