O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pudukottai, to dispose of the proceedings in S.T.C.No.765/2015 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the complainant before the trial Court and the respondent is the accused in STC.No.765 of 2015 for the offence punishable under Section 138 NI Act. The case is of the year 2015. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of six years, the trial is not completed and the matter is not disposed of by the trial Court and the respondent is dragging on the matter endlessly.

3.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial MagistrateNo.1, Pudukkottai, to expedite the trial and dispose of the matter on merits, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and send a compliance report to the Registry.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
