ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 420 and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.205 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution according to the defacto complainant is that the petitioners along with other accused cheated the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.7,00,000/-. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner along with co-accused are involved in similar cases and in this regard, the petitioner along with co-accused already filed Crl.M.P.Nos.783, 784, 785 and 789 of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

2023 and all are pending before the Principal District Court, Madurai.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and the petitioner filed this petition suppressing the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with costs. The Petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) towards costs to the Chief Justice Relief Fund. sd/- 30/03/2023 / TRUE COPY / /04/2023 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
