Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling the records pertaining to the records of the order dated 17.02.2020 in Na.Ka.No.912/2019/T5 passed by the 3rd respondent and quash the same as illegal, arbitrator and violative of the Article 14 of the Constitution of India as discriminatory and consequently direct the respondents to pass fresh order by allotting sufficient funds to all the village Panchayats of Thirumangalam Panchayat Union without any discrimination.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is the President of Keelakottai Panchayat in Thirumangalam Panchayat Union. She is aggrieved by the fact that in the impugned proceedings, the petitioner's village panchayat has been totally left out. Addressing the said grievance expressed by the petitioner, a counter affidavit has been filed by the fourth respondent and in paragraph 6, it has been stated as follows:- "I submit that in so far as 2020-21 is concerned, the proposals have been sent for obtaining administrative apporval for the following works.

Total 14.00 Lakhs 3.I wanted to know as to whether, the said works have also been formally sanctioned. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the fourth respondent stated that apart from the aforementioned works, two other works have been sanctioned for the petitioner's village. 4.Recording the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
