This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take action based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2026 consequently direct the respondents to provide the particulars regarding the land acquisition relating to the S.No.77/2D, 77/2F and 33/2 situated at Thoppur Village, Thiruparamkundram Taluk, Madurai District within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's parents had purchased property in Survey Nos. 77/2D, 77/2F, and 33/2 located at Thoppur Village, Thiruparamkundram Taluk, Madurai District. In 1995, the third respondent acquired the land but failed to pay compensation or deposit the 2/5
amount. After the death of the petitioner's parents, the petitioner succeeded as their legal heir. Despite requesting information under the Right to Information Act, the petitioner has not received the requested details. Consequently, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second and third respondent shall provide the particulars of the land acquisition proceedings relating to the above survey numbers, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
