O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st Respondent herein, not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the basis of the complaint, lodged by Nirmala, W/o.D.Shanmugam, the 2nd Respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioner and harassed him under the guise of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, would submit that in this case, based on the earlier complaint given by the second respondent, petition enquiry has been conducted and subsequently, the same has been closed on 01.10.2016. Thereafter, there is no complaint or FIR is pending against the petitioner, on the file of the 1st respondent police. Since, there is no petition is pending against the petitioner, the presence of the petitioner is not at all required by the respondent police. Hence, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

there is no scope for harassment as alleged by the petitioner.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
