The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant police permission to Kida Pooja function and seed sowing function on that date fixed by this Court in the petitioner's land situated at Pandipathiram, Aavudaiyarkoil Taluk, Pudukkottai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents. 3.The petitioner has given a representation on 13.08.2015 to the second respondent seeking police protection and since the same has not been considered so far, he has come up with the present petition for the relief stated supra.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the authority concerned is directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 13.08.2015, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.
