Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to prevent 5th respondent and other persons from removing soil illegally in respect of the property at S.No.559/1, Keeranur Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to prevent 5th respondent and other persons from removing soil illegally in respect of the property at S.No.559/1, Keeranur Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, it is reported by the learned counsel for the 5th respondent that the fifth respondent had been quarrying in his own land without permission of the authorities concerned, for which, he has paid the penalty and now, he stopped the quarrying operation also.

3. The learned Government Advocate also endorsed the view of the learned counsel for the fifth respondent. 4.

In the light of above, recording the submission of the learned counsel for the 5th respondent, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
