(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents and their subordinates to preserve the historical and ancient heritage building (constructed in 1909) of the Municipal Higher Secondary School, Karur, pursuant to the representation dated 06.06.2020. 2/5

2.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent/Karur Municipality, based on the written instructions from the Commissioner, Karur Municipality, vide letter dated 08.07.2025, submitted that the dilapidated portion of the old building, constructed in the year 1909, was demolished and a new building was constructed to ensure the safety and security of the children studying in the School. The School has been functioning in the new building from 2021 onwards. 3.Since action has been taken to protect the safety of the children, this Court does not find any infirmity in the steps taken. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
