2.By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.The petitioners have given a representation before the respondents seeking to include the name of their village in the web site of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department for the collection of house tax, all other taxes in the name of the petitioners village and to ensure worshiping the petitioners village temple namely Madathu Siddhi Vinayagar Temple and erection of name board of the village in the name of Madathupatti Village, Kummangudi Post, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioners have filed this writ petition. 4.
Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners either in the representation or in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 21.02.
the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
