ORDER

With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, even at the stage of admission.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioners seek cancellation of patta issued to a permissive occupant one Sivakalan. The petitioners have made representation on 26.02.2025 in this regard.

4. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioners, the third respondent is directed to consider, on merits and in 2/4

accordance with law and dispose of the representation of the petitioners' dated 26.02.2025 within a period of twleve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the interested parties.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
