Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. The petitioner has sought for allotment of Panjami lands to him and in that regard, he has given a representation as early as on 09.11.2024. However, as rightly pointed out by the learned Government Advocate, the representation has been given only to the District Collector, Dindigul. The competitive authority is the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dindigul, who is not even arrayed as a respondent in this writ petition.

3. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to give a detailed representation to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dindigul within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any such application is made by the petitioner, the Revenue 2/4
