This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioner and harassed him under the guise of enquiry, with regard to a civil dispute.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that no petition and no CSR is pending against the petitioner as on today. He would further submit that with regard to the earlier complaint pending against the petitioner, petition enquiry has been conducted and the same has been closed on 19.12.2016 and the petitioner's appearance is not at all required by the respondent Police. Hence, there is no scope of harassment as alleged by the petitioner.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), there is no scope for harassment. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Sd/ Assistant Registrar() /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar.
