ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to issue a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.06.2015 and to direct the second and third respondents to take necessary steps to provide proper drainage system at the locality of the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first

respondent as well the learned counsel appearing for the second and third respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner made the representation dated 01.06.2015, to the first respondent seeking adequate steps to provide proper drainage facility in his locality, the same has not been considered so far and hence, he is before this Court.

4. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 01.06.2015, is disposed of by the respondents as per law.

5. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.06.2015 and pass appropriate orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all other interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authority concerned is free to deal with the matter on its own merit as per law.
