Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2020 and to direct the respondents to receive property tax for her Tax Assessment No.61002555 and water tax continuously for her above said property of 7.18 Ares(Patta Nos.2541 & 2542) in ReSurvey No.202/16 situated at Pappakudi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District(Now S.F.No.202/16, Pugazh Nagar 2nd Street, Ward No.61, Pappakurichi Village, Ariyamangalam Division, Trichy District) by considering the petitioner's long and continuous possession of 50 years over the above said Natham Puramboke property.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and the learned Standing counsel appearing for respondents 2 and 3.

2. The petitioner wants the Corporation to receive the property tax in respect of the petition mentioned property. She placed reliance in this regard.

3. The learned Standing counsel states that the property in question has been earmarked for public purpose and the document relied by the petitioner is not a genuine one.

4. Be that as it may, the fact remains that the petitioner has given a representation dated 17.06.2020 in this regard. The second respondent is directed to dispose of the said representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
