ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ on hand has been instituted to restrain the respondents 3 and 4 from carrying out illegal construction of a well at Meyyampuli, Nochivadi, and Semmadam regions in Rameswaram, Ramanathapuram District. The petitioner also seeks a direction to the first respondent to take appropriate action against such illegal construction and, consequently, to adopt the Model Bill for the Conservation, Protection, Regulation and Management of Ground Water, 2016.
2.The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the illegal construction of the well has been stopped by the competent authorities. Hence, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition.
3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no 3/6
