ORDER

The petitioner, who is a Senior Citizen had given a complaint before the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchendur, Thoothukudi District, taking advantage of Section 8 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. 2.The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus, seeking a direction against the second respondent to conduct enquiry and dispose of the application filed by the petitioner. The petitioner had given applications on 28.10.2022, 14.11.2022 and again on 13.02.2023. 3.A direction is given to the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchendur, Thoothukudi District to take up the application on file and if the application is not proper, issue notice to the petitioner and get a proper application, thereafter, issue notice to the third respondent namely Easkkiraja and conduct necessary enquiry in the manner 2/4

known to law and according to law. The said exercise should be completed on or before 31.08.2023.

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
