This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to call for the records in S.C.No.154 of 2016 in C.C.No. 50 of 2015, on the file of the II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thoothukudi and to quash the same.

2.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioners/A1 to A3 as well as the 2nd respondent/de-facto complainant with their counsel appeared in person. They have filed a joint Memorandum of compromise, dated 02.01.2017 stating that the matter has already been compromised between the parties and the defacto complainant has no objection to quash the entire proceeds in S.C.No.154 of 2016 on the file of the II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thoothukudi, in connection with Crime No.32 of 2015. 3.In view of the statement made by the parties and the joint compromise memo filed by them, no fruitful purpose will be achieved to proceed further in this matter.

4.In view of that, this petition is allowed and the entire proceedings in respect of S.C.No.154 of 2016 on the file of the II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thoothukudi, is quashed as against the petitioners. The joint compromise memo, dated 02.01.2017 shall form part of the record.
