PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent herein to conduct further investigation by adhere the order passed by the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District in Crl.M.P.No. 2411 of 2021, dated 24.08.2021 in Crime No.170 of 2019. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to conduct further investigation by adhere the order passed by the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District in Crl.M.P.No. 2411 of 2021, dated 24.08.2021 in Crime No.170 of 2019.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent and the same was registered in Crime No.170 of 2019 under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. After the completion of investigation, the respondent Police closed the FIR as " Mistake of Fact". Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed this petition and which the Court below ordered further investigation in Crime No.170 of 2019 and report on or before 24.09.2021. However, the respondent herein did not conduct any further investigation and it is pending.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) submitted that investigation is under progress and the respondent Police will complete the same within a period of four weeks. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking note of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side), the respondent is directed to complete the investigation as directed by the Court below and file the final report before the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With this direction, this Criminal original Petition is disposed of.
