ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to appoint some other competent person other than the second respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.191 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent and further direct the first respondent to monitor the investigation. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the State. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that in this case investigation has already been completed and closed as 'mistake of fact' and he has also produced the final report filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ottanchathiram on 21.09.2016.

4.Since the investigation is completed, no necessity to pass any orders in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. However, if the petitioner is not satisfied with the closure report, he is at liberty to challenge the same before the appropriate forum.
