Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 5 to consider and take appropriate action on the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.02.2022 in respect of misappropriation of Government fund by forging and manipulating the Periya Kottakudi Panchayat records, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District in the name of petitioner's mother under the scheme of Mahatma Gandhi Rural Job Guarantee committed by the respondents 7 to 9 within stipulated time framed by this Court.

This petition has been filed to directing the respondents 2 to 5 to consider and take appropriate action on the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.02.2022 in respect of misappropriation of Government fund by forging and manipulating the Periya Kottakudi Panchayat records, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District in the name of petitioner's mother under the scheme of Mahatma Gandhi Rural Job Guarantee committed by the respondents 7 to 9 within stipulated time framed by this Court.
2. It is seen that the petitioner has lodged complaint before the respondent police on 03.02.2022 and the same is still pending without any progress.
3. In view of the same, the fifth respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the petitioner and respondent Nos.7 to 9 and dispose of the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
