ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the property stood in the name of his mother Unnamalai @ Logambal. The petitioner's grievance is that the names of two unconnected persons, namely, Venkateswaran and Alagendran have been included in the patta. The petitioner wants their names to be deleted. The petitioner's mother is no more. The petitioner wants his name and his brother's name alone to be reflected in the revenue record. The petitioner has given an application in this regard before the respondent.

3.The respondent is directed to consider the petition mentioned application and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the respondent to pass order one way or the other. The respondent shall put the interested persons on notice before passing the final order. 2/4

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
