This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register a case/F.I.R. on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 21.12.2015 lodged with the first respondent and investigate into the matter in accordance withlaw and file a final report within the prescribed period as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the complaint dated 21.12.2015 has been sent by post. Under Section 154 Cr.P.C., the complaint has to be given in person and only if the police refused to entertain the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

same, a copy of the complaint can be sent by post to the Superintendent of Police. Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to go in person and lodge a fresh a complaint containing the same contents as found in the complaint dated 21.12.2015 to the third respondent police and on receipt of such complaint, the same can be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law.
