O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to accord permission and give police protection to conduct the Kabaddi Match on 16.06.2018 [Saturday] at 8.00 p.m. in ''Poonga Thidal'' at Erakudi, Trichy District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 11.06.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 11.06.2018 to the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to conduct the Kabaddi Match on 16.06.2018 [Saturday] at 8.00 p.m. in ''Poonga Thidal'' at Erakudi, Trichy District. Since no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 15.06.2018. The petitioner shall submit a copy of a representation dated 11.06.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.

6.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
