O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner from the third respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions, would submit that both the parties have appeared for enquiry on 09.06.2018 and the proposed accused made a submission that he will not give any trouble or any threat to the petitioner in future. The proposed accused also gave an undertaking that if anything happened, he will https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

be responsible and the respondent police can initiate action against him. In view of the statement made by the proposed accused, the petitioner also made a submission that they will settle the dispute among themselves and there is no need to take further action in his complaint. Thereafter the said complaint was closed. He also produced a copy of the representations given by both parties before this Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent police seeking appropriate action, if necessary.
