ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's on-line application dated 28.01.2022 and subsequent reminder representation dated 15.03.2022 seeking for issuance of patta in his name in respect of the land situated in S.No.130/B2A, 131/B1 and 131B/2A3 in Kulasekaranallur Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Tuticorin District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner claims that he is the absolute owner of the aforementioned property, having purchased the same under a sale deed dated 25.01.2022. The petitioner has applied for patta through his online application dated 28.01.2022 with the respondent. Thereafter, he has also sent a reminder representation on 15.03.2022. Since the said application has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard Mr.M.Saravana Kumar, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.7863 of 2022 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent, if the representation of the petitioner is considered, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary party whom the respondent deems fit to enquire.

5.In the result, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 28.01.2022 and the subsequent reminder representation dated 15.03.2022, seeking for issuance of patta in his name for the property being a land situated in S.Nos.130/B2A, 131/B1 and 131B/2A3 in Kulasekaranallur Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Tuticorin District and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary party, whom the respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
