ORDER

Seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant permission for conducting Arulmigu Sri Jakkalamman, Sri Mallaiyan Temple Festival at north Mettupatti, Velliyanai South, Karur District, to be held from 21.03.2026 to 24.03.2026 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.03.2026, this writ petition is filed.

2. However, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate Mr.M.Sakthi kumar drew my attention to the order passed by this court in W.P.(MD)No.13845 of 2025 dated 03.06.2025 in a writ petition filed by the 4th respondent wherein this Court had already passed an order as follows: "4. Considering the rival submissions, this Court is of the considered opinion that since law and order problem is involved in the present case, based on the 2/5

resolution passed in the peace committee meeting, the official respondents are directed to restrain the private respondents 5 to 11 and also the petitioner from conducting any temple festival until the disposal of the suit in O.S.No.303 of 2024 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Karur. However, it is made clear that the daily prayers can go on."

3. In view of the direction given by this Court in the aforesaid case, this Court is not inclined to pass any further direction. It is made clear that neither the petitioner party nor the respondent party should conduct any kind of temple festival till the disposal of the aforesaid suit in O.S.No.303 of 2024 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Karur.
