S.Ramar has filed this writ petition for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned notification dated 21.8.2014 in Advertisement No.6/2014, issued by the 3rd respondent, to quash the same in so far as the Adhi Dravida Welfare department vacancies are concerned, with a consequential direction to the 3rd respondent, to appoint him as Direct Recruitment Secondary Grade Teacher 2012-2013.
2.The petitioner would submit that during the pendency of this writ petition, he has been selected and an order of appointment has also been issued. In support of the said submission, he has produced a copy of the order of appointment issued by the Director, Aadhi Dravidar Welfare Department, Chennai, 2nd respondent herein, in Na.Ka.No.R3/28688/2014-460 dated 08.06.2016, appointing the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher at Government ADW Primary School, Therkupuliyamankulam, Tirunelveli District.
3.In view of that, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Hence, placing on record the order of appointment dated 08.06.2016 issued by the 2nd respondent, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
4.At this juncture, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 to 27 would submit that this Court on 18.04.2016 has observed that once the petitioner is accommodated, then it would render the writ petition infructuous, which in turn would enable the other selected candidates to fall in their place. As the petitioner has now been issued with an order of appointment, it is for the official respondents to proceed further, in the manner known to law. M.P(MD)Nos.1 to 4 of 2014 are closed.
