Respondents in both Writ Petitions COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein the petitioner should be dispossessed from his/her property only by following due process of law and not to take any further coercive steps to dispossess the petitioner from her/his property or damaging her/his property by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.04.2022 and 20.04.2022.

COMMON ORDER [Made by R.VIJAYAKUMAR, J.] These writ petitions have been filed seeking for a mandamus not to dispossess the petitioners from their properties in Survey No.143/1E, at Marungur Group Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanthapuram District, wherein, they are in possession from the year 1982 onwards.

2. According to the petitioners, even in the representations sent by the petitioners on 11.04.2022, they have stated that the Revenue Authorities have illegally entered into the properties and taken possession on 08.04.2022.

3. The Revenue records filed along with the typed set of papers indicates that the petitioners were in possession of Survey No.143/2B and not in Survey No.143/1E. However, with some ulterior motive, the prayer has been sought for not to dispossess them from Survey No.143/1E without due process of law.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents pointed out that the petitioners were in possession of Government lands and that lands have been taken possession by the Government on 08.04.2022.
