Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to take appropriate action on the complaint given by the petitioner herein on complaint, dated 24.03.2020 sent through speed post within a time as stipulated by this Court after affording opportunity to the necessary parties concerned and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to directing the second respondent to take appropriate action on the complaint given by the petitioner herein on complaint, dated 24.03.2020 sent through speed post within a time as stipulated by this Court after affording opportunity to the necessary parties concerned and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has lodged complaint before the respondent police on 24.03.2020 and the same is still pending without any progress.

3. In view of the same, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the petitioner and dispose of the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
