The Review Applicant/Petitioner has preferred the instant Review Application as against the order passed by this Court in W.P. (MD) No.14083 of 2010 dated 15.12.2016.

2. When the matter was called on 29.04.2019, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence the matter was adjourned. Even today, when the matter was called, the learned counsel for the petitioner was not present. Nevertheless, another https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

counsel represented on his behalf and submitted that the matter has become infructuous and thereby seeks permission to withdraw the Review Application. This Court is of the view that such a withdrawal can only be granted to the counsel on record. Since the matter has been listed through video conferencing, it would not be appropriate to permit such a withdrawal. However, since the representing counsel also claims that the matter has become infructuous, no prejudice would be caused to the review applicant, if the Review Application is closed. Under such circumstances, the Review application stands closed. No costs.
