Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 1st respondent to give necessary direction to the respondents 2 & 3 not to harass the petitioner based on the representation to the respondents on 08.06.2018. ORDER

This petitioner has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to give necessary direction to the respondents 2 & 3 not to harass the petitioner based on the representation to the respondents on 08.06.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the State.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent Police frequently called the petitioners to the Police Station and harassed them under the guise of enquiry.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that since the petitioners are cited as witnesses they were called for enquiry and that the respondent Police did not cause any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

harassment to the petitioners. However, he gave an undertaking that if at all the presence of the petitioners is required, the respondent would call the petitioners for enquiry only after issuing summons giving specific date, time and place.

5. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioners also submit that the petitioners shall cooperate for the enquiry as and when required by the respondent police.

6. Recording the above undertaking given by both the counsels, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS-III) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
