: Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Dindigul, Dindigul District, the 2nd respondent herein, to register the petitioner's complaint dated 07.03.2018 as an F.I.R. within a stipulated time as prescribed by this Court. O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 07.03.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, the petitioner made a complaint to the 2nd respondent police against the proposed accused on 07.03.2018. But no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that since the dispute between the parties pertaining to family dispute, the same has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer and awaiting report. He further submitted that after https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

obtaining report from the Social Welfare Officer, the respondent police will take further action in the above said complaint.

5. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach this Court at a later stage, if necessary.

6. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
