ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the case in Crime No.204 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent police.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the second respondent/de-facto complainant has lodged a complaint on 24.07.2016 before the first respondent and the same has been registered in Crime No.204 of 2016 for offence under Section 160 IPC. Since the respondent police has not filed charge sheet, the petitioner has filed the present petition for the aforesaid relief.
https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that on the basis of the complaint
give by the second respondent/de-facto complainant, the present case has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No.204 of 2016 and the investigation is also pending. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) undertakes that the investigation may be completed within a period of four weeks.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has received appointment order from the General Hospital for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer, at Singapore and therefore, he seeks a specific direction may be given to the respondent police to complete the investigation within a specific time.
5.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
