Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the house tax in the name of the petitioner, his brother and his sisters based on their application dated 14.07.2014 within the period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the house tax in the name of the petitioner, his brother and his sisters, based on their application dated 14.07.2014 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the application of the petitioner may be considered by the respondents, within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. Notice was ordered as early as on 09.10.2014. No counter affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondents. However, on instruction, the learned Govt.Advocate appearing for the second respondent through a letter dated 03.12.2014 would submit that the petitioner has wrongly mentioned the door number in the application form. Hence, his request could not be considered by the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to apply afresh with all the relevant particulars as required by the second

respondent. As soon as an application is made by the petitioner, it is always open to the second respondent to consider the said request and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as interested parties, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
