This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event, namely, Adal Padal, scheduled to be held on 20.06.2018 at 9.00 p.m. to 12.00 p.m. in connection with ''Kappukattu Festival'' in Arulmigu Sri Vembadi Mariamman Temple at Sivagangai Oorani, Thirunalur North Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 25.05.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the programme date has been wrongly mentioned in this Writ Petition and therefore, he seeks liberty to make a fresh representation to the second respondent with correct particulars.

4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the second respondent by mentioning the correct date of the programme, if he is so advised. No costs.
