The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.311 of 2018 1/4

and file final report within a stipulated time.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submits that material portion of investigation is already over, however, they require three more months for filing the final report.

3. In view of the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.311 of 2018 and file the final report before the concerned Court within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
