ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to file the final report in Crime No.764 of 2017 on the file of the 2nd respondent police within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the State.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.Elango, Sub Inspector of Police, Thiruverumbur Police Station, Trichy also present before this Court. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the 2nd respondent requires three months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.764 of 2017.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of

with a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.764 of 2017, before the Court concerned within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
