ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nagercoil, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.46 of 2016 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by the Court.

2. The offence is of the simple nature and the crime is of the year 2014. The Final Report has been filed in year 2015, but even after lapse of eight years, the matter has not been disposed of by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nagercoil.

3. Since the Final Report has been filed in the year 2015, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nagercoil, to dispose the case in C.C.No.46 of 2016, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.'

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
