This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant permission and give adequate police protection for conducting Minnoli Volleyball and Kabadi Tournaments, which are scheduled to be taken place on 23.06.2018 at 8.30 p.m. and 25.06.2018 at 8.00 p.m. respectively at Sriregunathapuram, Panagudi, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, in connection with the Temple Festival of Sri Ayya Vaigundanathar Swamy, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 07.06.2018.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

protection for conducting the Minnoli Volleyball and Kabadi Tournaments, which are scheduled to be taken place on 23.06.2018 at 8.30 p.m. and 25.06.2018 at 8.00 p.m. respectively at Sriregunathapuram, Panagudi, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, in connection with the Temple Festival of Sri Ayya Vaigundanathar Swamy. Since no order has been passed on the said representation, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition with the aforesaid prayer.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that so far the said representation was not received by the respondents.
5.On perusal of the typed set of papers filed by the petitioner, it is seen that the petitioner has enclosed a copy of the said representation and postal delivery receipts. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner will submit a copy of the representation dated 07.06.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.
6.Considering the submission made by both parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably, on or before 20.06.2018. The petitioner shall submit a copy of a representation dated 07.06.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.
7.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
