ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Vadipatti, for taken on file the charge sheet filed in E-filing No. LTN20220001526c2024000103 dated 14.08.2024 in connection with Crime No. 301 of 2021 on the file of the respondent 1/4

police.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case and based on her complaint, a case in Crime No.301 of 2021 has been registered for the offences under Sections 354, 507 and 509 of IPC. After completing the investigation, the respondent police has filed the final report through Efiling No. LTN20220001526c2024000103 dated 14.08.2024. Thereafter, the learned Judicial Magistrate has not taken any steps on the charge sheet filed by the respondents. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, they registered a case in Crime No.301 of 2021 for the offences offences under Sections 354, 507 and 509 of IPC. Thereafter, they filed the charge sheet on 14.08.2024 through E-filing No.

LTN20220001526c2024000103. Now the same is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti to take appropriate decision on the 2/4

charge sheet filed by the respondent in Crime No.301 of 2021 within a period of one week from the date of this order, without any delay.

5. With the above said direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
