O R D E R
The prayer in this writ petition is to directing the respondents 1 to 5 more particularly the second and fifth respondents not to grant any permission to the respondents 6 and 7 for celebrating the Kodai festival to Arulmighu Chanthi Mariamman Thirukovil situated at Nadu Poolankulam, Alangulam Taluk, Tenkasi District in pursuance of the petitioner's representation, dated 10.04.2022 forthwith.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that already on the petition lodged by the petitioner, the fifth respondent referred the same before the third respondent for conducting peace committee meeting and it is pending for enquiry.
3. While pending enquiry, such a prayer was sought for in this petition cannot be considered. However, the third respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondent Nos.6 and 7 herein and after giving opportunity to him and pass appropriate order on or before 16.05.2022.
4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands dispose of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
