O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first Respondent to with hold the disputed amount of Rs.4,00,000/- (Four Lakhs) in the account of the petitioner and release the balance of the amount in the account. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the first respondent has put a hold on the savings account for the amount of Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four lakhs only), based on the instructions received from the respondents 2 and 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that although the disputed amount is Rs.4,00,000/-, the first respondent has not allowed her to withdraw the remaining balance in her account. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent, fairly submitted that as per the instructions of the 2/5

respondents 2 and 3, a sum of Rs.3,40,000/- has been put on hold and therefore, the petitioner can withdraw the balance amount in her account.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent bank, the petitioner is hereby permitted to withdraw the remaining amount in her account, apart from the disputed sum of Rs. 3,40,000/-.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands allowed. There shall be no order as to costs. 04.04.2025 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No PKN 3/5
