ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2026.
2. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the material records, it is seen that the grievance of the petitioner is that, although the vendor, K.Ramasamy, had submitted a letter of no objection for change of the electricity service connection in S.C.No.05234013563 FV5H in the name of the petitioner, the same has not yet been effected. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.
3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that an objection had been received from a third party, namely, Chinnapan.
4. Even if an objection is received, it is for the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and decide the matter in accordance with law.
5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:
(i) The second respondent shall take up the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2026, issue notice to the petitioner as well as to the third-party objector, and decide the matter in accordance with law. (ii) The decision shall be taken as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order.
