Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to forward the report in respect of the irregularities committed in respect of issue of patta in granting patta in so far as Survey No. 537/2 of Pandavar Mangalam village Kovilpatti Taluk Thoothukudi District through the 3rd respondent and consequently direct the 1st respondent to take action in pursuant to the report in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Honourable Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that patta has been granted to ineligible persons. Since the said persons have not been made as party respondents in this writ petition, no direction as prayed for by the petitioner can be granted. However, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the competent authority giving all the details of the persons who have been alleged to be beneficiaries of illegal grant of patta. It is for the competent authority to consider the same on its own merit and in accordance with law. 2.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, M.P(MD)No.1 of 2014 is closed.
