Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 5 to consider petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2026 and consequently waive his agricultural jewel loan in light of G.O.Ms.No.15, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection (CC1) Department, within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 5 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2026.

2. Upon hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and on perusal of the representation, it is seen that the petitioner seeks waiver of an agricultural jewel loan, claiming eligibility under G.O.Ms.No.15, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection (CC1) Department, dated 08.02.2021.

3. Ms.P.B.Ahamed Yashmin Parvin, learned Government Advocate, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, submitted that a due enquiry has already been conducted, wherein out of 194 borrowers, only 37 were found eligible under the said Government Order. It is further submitted that a reasoned (speaking) order will be passed on the petitioner's representation.

4. In view of the above submission, the respondents 2 to 5 are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2026 and pass a reasoned order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a web copy of this order, without insisting upon a certified copy.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. 17.03.2026 smn2
