ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 294b, 354A(1)(i) & 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.21 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is the wife of the petitioner's brother. The allegation against the petitioner is that he misbehaved with 1/3

the defacto complainant. Therefore, based on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant, a case has been registered by the respondent police. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and due to some wordy quarrel took place between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, this case has been registered. In an earlier occasion, the application filed by this petitioner seeking anticipatory bail was dismissed by this Court on 19.03.2024.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that this is the second application filed by the petitioner for anticipatory bail. The earlier application was dismissed by this Court on 19.03.2024 considering the allegation levelled as against the petitioner, the antecedents of the petitioner and also considering that the investigation is in preliminary stage. 5.This Court considered the rival submissions made.
