Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for R1. 2.The petitioner is facing trial in S.C.No.134 of 2019 on the file of the Sessions Judge(Special Court for Mahila), Tirunelveli. 3.The case of the defacto complainant is that the petitioner gave her false promise to marry. Now the defacto complainant states that she is not interested in pursuing the matter. 4.When the parties themselves have amicably resolved the issue, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive.
